I on loan a Zoom H4 from a companion and found it awfully frustrating to function. The owners guidebook was really gibberish to me. I may well not progress to heads or tails of the commands. I've had my H2 since September, and used it in a variety of expert broadcast situations, with varied winner. The recorder worked well as soon as recording from a line level or mult box feed by the side of mic level.
